As we enter the holiday season, enjoy an intimate artisan workshop with LongHouse Director of Horticulture Shelby Miller. This hands-on wreath-making workshop requires no previous experience, as participants will be led through the basics of creating their own large, seasonal wreath under Shelby's expert guidance.
You will work with premium winter greens and unique botanical elements sourced directly from the LongHouse gardens. Learn the professional mechanics of wiring and framing to compose a magnificent, long-lasting piece that reflects the creative spirit of LongHouse Reserve. Because workshop materials are prepared individually for each guest, spaces are highly limited and fill quickly.

ABOUT SHELBY MILLER
Shelby Miller, Director of Horticulture at LongHouse, is a passionate horticulturist specializing in ecological gardening and the stewardship of public gardens. Prior to her work in public gardens like the High Line, Governors Island, and the New York Botanical Gardens, Shelby's career in horticulture began over a decade ago from her start in the industry as a florist. Throughout her multidisciplinary career, she has been inspired by the natural world and seeks to share the beauty and artistry of gardening by leading workshops, volunteer opportunities, and internships for all ages.
