Clean Water Classic

About This Event

Join us for Kind Human’s second annual Clean Water Classic!

On Friday, October 9, 2026, we’re gathering friends, families, and neighbors for a special day of golf at Turtle Creek — the course where many of us first fell in love with the game.

This outing supports the Kind Human Foundation, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit working to bring safe drinking water to some of the world’s poorest communities. Every swing, every putt, and every mulligan helps move us closer to our goal of serving 1 million people through new wells, filtration systems, rainwater collection, and other sustainable infrastructure.

More than 700 million people still live without reliable access to clean water. This is where change begins.

What to expect

  • Check-in begins at 12:00 PM (driving range on site)
  • 1:00 PM shotgun start
  • Scramble format (play from the best shot in your group)
  • 18 beautiful holes at Turtle Creek Golf Course
  • Golf cart, boxed lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages included
  • On-course contests: Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Best Team Score, and more
  • Raffle featuring sponsor giveaways
  • Brief awards ceremony and open bar to follow

FAQs

How you make a difference?
Your entry fee goes directly to funding life-changing clean water projects in communities that need it most. When you play, you improve the health, nutrition, education, and security of some of the poorest communities on the planet. At the end of the year, you'll receive an impact report, detailing all of the ways your gift helped save another person's life.

Is my entry fee tax-deductibe?
The fair market value of the round plus meal averages $70 per player, leaving any remaining balance as tax-deductible. Please make sure to save receipts to take full advantage of the tax benefit. Any additional donations are 100% tax-deductible to the extent of the law.

Can I participate in the event if I don't play golf?
Absolutely! Even if you're not hitting the links, you're more than welcome to donate or join us as a volunteer, lending a hand to ensure the event runs smoothly. That or encourage your employer or favorite local business to sponsor a hole. And if you just want to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some great company, feel free to stop by after the round for awards and open bar.

Ready to play?
Register today as a single golfer, foursome, or corporate sponsor — and join us in making every drop count. What better way could you spend a Friday afternoon than changing the world and having fun in the process?!

How does a scramble work?
In a scramble, every player on the team tees off, and the group selects the best shot to play from. All players then hit from that spot, continuing this way until the ball is holed — making it fun, fast-paced, and beginner-friendly. The team records just one score per hole.

What if there's bad weather?
In the event of severe weather, the course Superintendent will be the deciding agent to allow play with no restrictions. If lightning occurs during the event, all play will halt until the danger passes. A mandatory period of thirty minutes from the last strike will follow before any determination is made. If play cannot be resumed, a credit will be issued for the holes not played.

About the Course

Turtle Creek Golf Course is one of greater Philadelphia's standout public courses, set along the rolling hills of Limerick, Pennsylvania. Consistently ranked among the region's best, it was awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest in their "Best Places to Play" list.
