Ride with Bernie Traurig: Two-Day Progressive Jumping Clinic

Metropolitan Equestrian is proud to welcome legendary horseman Bernie Traurig for a two-day progressive jumping clinic at Prince George's Equestrian Center, The Show Place Arena, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Join Hall of Fame horseman Bernie Traurig for a progressive jumping clinic, November 14–15, 2026, at the renowned Prince George's Equestrian Center. Hosted by Metropolitan Equestrian. Ride one day or both. Groups at 2', 2'6", 3' and 3'6". Riders must bring their own or a leased horse. Auditing is free. Spots are limited.

Bernie is one of the most respected teachers in the sport. He has represented the United States Equestrian Team at home and abroad and reached the top level in show jumping, dressage and eventing. He was inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame in 2009 and served as West Coast associate Chef d'Equipe to George H. Morris. Drawing on more than 60 years of riding and training, he gives every horse-and-rider pair practical tools to take home, whatever their discipline or level.

Train at a premier venue
This clinic is a rare chance to school and train at Prince George's Equestrian Center, one of the region's most prestigious equestrian facilities hosting top USEF Horse Show such as Capital Challenge, the Washington International Horse Show and more. Clinics are held in the covered arena, which has professionally maintained footing, so you can ride rain or shine. Indoor restrooms and spectator seating are right beside the ring. It's an ideal setting to sharpen your skills and get your horse comfortable in a show-quality environment.
