Speaker Bios

Miles Levin
Writer, Director, Executive Producer for Under the Lights (Short and Feature)

Miles Levin is an award winning writer/director and public speaker living with epilepsy. He first decided to pull from this experience when he worked at a camp living for kids with the condition, horrified by the stigma they faced, and the inefficacy of most awareness efforts. Stigma comes largely from our exposure to movies and television that have trained audiences to fear people with epilepsy. Through Under the Lights, we can change that. The Under the Lights short has become a movement, becoming so popular in the epilepsy world that Miles travels the country every month screening it years after it’s release. He’s proud of that impact.
