Are you a beachcomber who spends lots of time out on the sand? Ever wonder what kinds of crustaceans you are looking at? Join us at the Coastal Interpretive Center on Saturday September 12th at noon for an opportunity to learn more about a community science program offered by the University of Washington Sea Grant that helps identify and monitor populations of local crab species and also the invasive European Green Crab. Training will last for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and will include an indoor classroom portion and an outside beach walk to look for molts. Registration required.
