TWO GREAT DAYS, ONE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE! We are transforming the Library into a community destination. Become a Hole Sponsor and help us support important Library programs! YOUR SPONSORSHIP WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our donors and through generous grants, the Foundation made significant strides in enhancing our library services. We donated over $26,000.00 for programming and materials. A generous grant enabled us to purchase an awning for the bookmobile. Individual donations made it possible to purchase two much-needed camcorders for the Sewell Mill Library Creative Studio and a fast photo scanner for the Georgia Room. We brought back the Gail Rogers scholarship awarded to a Library staff member for their continued professional studies. Additionally, the Foundation gave over $2,500.00 in mini grants for the Black History Month Celebration at Switzer, the Zero Robotics program at Stratton this summer, a Lunar Celebration at Gritters, and support for specialized programming for special needs patrons at the North Cobb Regional Library just to name a few! This year the Foundation and its dedicated Board will continue to support reading programs, purchase materials and equipment, and the development of special spaces.
