About This Event

Sibling relationships in foster and adoptive homes can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. Join Christi, Laura, and Tiffany for an honest and hope-filled conversation about how trauma, loss, and survival behaviors impact sibling rivalry—and discover practical, faith-based tools to help families build empathy, connection, and healthier ways to navigate conflict. While adults gain insight and encouragement, kids will participate in engaging activities designed to help them regulate emotions, understand one another, and practice problem-solving skills together.

Our Family Collective is our monthly support group for foster, adoptive and kinship families.  Each month, we gather for pizza and salad, then break off into sessions by age/grade.  Each session is led by local therapists who are trauma informed and want to support our families.  If you are coming but not planning to have dinner, please email laura@thefosteringcollective.org.

Location- South Spring Baptist Church 17002 Hwy 69 in Tyler.
Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00pm.  Sessions will run from 6:00 - 7pm.

Contact Tiffany Davault at tiffany@thefosteringcollective.org or 903-253-9144 for more information.
