Our fundraising efforts will aid LVMC in its goal of opening the new Lompoc Health – Village Center in Vandenberg Village. This new health facility will not only serve residents of Vandenberg Village, but anyone living in the entire valley and at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Lompoc Health – Village Center is anticipated to open in early 2026, with additional clinic space for primary care providers, Ear, Nose and Throat specialists, a walk-in Urgent Care clinic and more.

Check-in at 8 am • Event Begins at 9 am
Everyone will start together and run or walk a pre-arranged 5K course, passing through numerous color stations. Each color station represents a different color, where our enthusiastic volunteers will shower you with color (dyed cornstarch). The event is open to runners, walkers, joggers, and anyone who wants to come out and have a fun morning.
Your registration and/or sponsorship will help the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation raise funds to continue our mission.
Have fun and help your community at the same time.
Children under 5 can come for free (t-shirt not included).
Pre-Registration Deadline: September 18. Pre-register to save $5 on ticket costs.

Our Cause
The success of the Colorthon is even more critical to the Foundation this year, as weather concerns forced the cancellation of our annual Colorthon fundraiser last November. The loss of that event severely curtailed our ability to raise much-needed funds to benefit Lompoc Valley Medical Center – and is one reason why we’re counting on you more than ever.
Our fundraising efforts will aid LVMC in its goal of opening the new Lompoc Health – Village Center in Vandenberg Village. This new center, located in a pre-existing building in the small community just north of downtown Lompoc, is part of LVMC’s mission to provide not only primary care, but specialty care and other services to local residents.
Much like our assistance in outfitting LVMC when it opened in 2010, we are thrilled to be able to help with this venture to increase access to healthcare in our region.

About the Colorthon 5K
In this entertaining Foundation fundraiser, participants will walk/run through various color-blast (non-toxic) zones, all supported by volunteers on the scenic 5K route. The Colorthon 5K is the Foundation's annual autumn event. Since 2015 the Foundation's Colorthon 5K has been a healthy, colorful, and fun family event.
