Get ready for a celebration of color and community! The Lompoc Hospital District Foundation is excited to bring back the Colorthon 5K on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, when the Mission Club will once again come alive with bright colors, smiling faces and a shared commitment to improving healthcare in our community.
Whether you're racing to the finish line, enjoying a leisurely walk with family and friends, or cheering from the sidelines, the Colorthon 5K is an opportunity to have fun while supporting a project that will benefit generations to come.
Proceeds from the Colorthon will advance the Foundation's priority initiative, the Lompoc Health – Village Center project, while also supporting the Foundation's ongoing mission to strengthen healthcare throughout the Lompoc Valley.
Expected to open in late 2026, the Village Center will provide additional clinical space for primary care, walk-in urgent care, pediatrics, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging and future healthcare expansion as community needs continue to grow.
Check-in at 8 am • Event Begins at 9 am
Everyone will start together and run or walk a pre-arranged 5K course, passing through numerous color stations. Each color station represents a different color, where our enthusiastic volunteers will shower you with color (dyed cornstarch). The event is open to runners, walkers, joggers, and anyone who wants to come out and have a fun morning.
Your registration and/or sponsorship will help the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation raise funds to continue our mission.

Children under 5 can come for free (t-shirt not included).

About the Colorthon 5K
In this entertaining Foundation fundraiser, participants will walk/run through various color-blast (non-toxic) zones, all supported by volunteers on the scenic 5K route. The Colorthon 5K is the Foundation's annual autumn event. Since 2015 the Foundation's Colorthon 5K has been a healthy, colorful, and fun family event.
