About This Event

The Persian Heritage Society and AAPI New Jersey invite you to celebrate Nowruz (Persian New Year) with us.

Nowruz marks the Persian New Year and the arrival of spring. This 3,000-year-old celebration symbolizes renewal, hope, and the triumph of light over darkness. Observed on the spring equinox and celebrated by over 300 million people throughout Western and Central Asia, Nowruz is a time for families and communities to gather, celebrate and embrace the new beginnings.

Join us for an afternoon filled with live performances by  renowned musician, Amir Vahab and his ensemble, as well as award winning composer and musician Mehrnam Rastegari, a delicious buffet dinner including a delectable array of traditional Persian dishes, dancing, a marketplace with unique local vendors, and much more.

Please note that children's tickets include access to children's food and a variety of entertainment in the dedicated children's room. The PHS and AAPI NJ do not assume liability for the care of your children and responsibility for children's safety is ultimately with their parents or caregivers.
