💔🌿 This is one we will never forget.  22 Kittens, 1 Overwhelmed Caretaker, and a Community That Can Change Everything for the next 100 cats. 🌿💔

When we got the call, we thought we were heading out to help an elderly woman with a few outdoor cats she’d been feeding. What we found was something none of us were prepared for.

Six of her seven outdoor cats had given birth within just weeks of each other. When we stepped onto the property… there were 26 kittens. Twenty‑six tiny lives, crying, sick and desperate.

More than a dozen kittens were trying to nurse from one exhausted momma cat. They were crusty, thin, and fighting for survival.

That night, we removed all 22 kittens and immediately TNR’d the adults so this cycle could finally stop. We were already over capacity and weren’t ready, but the kittens needed us more than we needed to be ready.  (And we knew our helpers would have our back!)

We rushed to find fosters because these babies were far too fragile to enter the stressful shelter. They needed medication, round‑the‑clock care, and quiet places to heal.

The property where they were born was overflowing with native plants and flowers, so every single one of these babies was given a plant name.  Sort of a reminder of where they came from, and how something beautiful can grow even in the hardest places.

They survived because someone cared. They will thrive because YOU do.

But this is just one property. We currently have 8 locations on our TNR list…and counting. The cycle won’t stop unless we step in together.

We need to raise $5,000 to help cover the cost of these TNR surgeries. We need more kittens to have endings like this.  The next 22 deserve to have the same story.

Their mommas also deserve peace. These cats deserve futures. And we can’t do it without you.
