Always wanted to try Mountain Biking but don't know where to start?
Join the Foothills Conservancy and Northwest NC's Mountain Bike Alliance for a Beginners Mountain Bike Ride at Catawba Meadows Park led by expert guide Nikki Malatin!
What: beginner Mountain Bike ride with experienced guide. No experience required. Bring your own bike OR borrow one from Foothills Conservancy*. Participants must be 16+ and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Where: Catawba Meadows Park. Meet at the playground near Beanstalk Builders.
Important Information: All Participants must register here AND fill out this mandatory information and liability waiver form. All participants must fill out the form, even if you intend to use your own bike.
This is a Pay-What-You-Want event. Space and bikes are limited so please only register if you are able to attend. Alert Erin (ecanter@foothillsconservancy.org) as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
*Bike sizes are based on user height. Limited number of each size available.
If there are rain events leading up to the ride, please check the Foothills Conservancy Instagram (or FCNC website, your email messages, etc... ) on the morning of the event to ensure that the ride has not been canceled due to wet trails.
