About This Event

Join us for an evening with Marin Chef Mark Bjerke to celebrate big hearty salads for dinner, a perfect way to reset after holiday indulgence! Learn the ins and outs of putting together greens, grains, legumes and bold flavors. Chef Mark will guide you through creating several tasty and interesting components to add to salads or other recipes in your repertoire. He also will demystify the preparation of perfect brown rice, mayonnaise and vinaigrettes. Gather at the end of class for a salad feast.

What You'll Make & Take Home: 

  • Make a Kale Ceasar Salad, Green Goddess Ranch Dressing, Miso-Roasted Tofu and more
  • Take home a jar of Pickled Onions to enhance salads, sandwiches or tacos

About the instructor: Chef Mark brings 20+ years of experience in the world of food. After some formative years working in the food industry, he began his teaching journey with Cavallo Point Cooking School. He has spent the last nine years teaching Marin kids and adults to cook with joy and creativity.
