About This Event
Take a hands-on journey to southern Italy with Honey Grace Lopez, who pursued her calling as a 'pastaia' through studies around the world. She will guide you step-by-step to make traditional pasta dough using only flour, water, and your own two hands. With her help, guests will create distinctive shapes from Italy's south: cavatelli, malloreddus, orecchiette, and more. Enjoy a tasting of your fresh pasta and tomato sauce as the class concludes.
What You’ll Take Home:
- Two servings of handmade pasta to freeze or cook within 24 hours
- A jar of class-made tomato sauce
- Tips and techniques to continue creating fresh pasta at home
About the instructor: Honey Grace Lopez managed the pasta room at Healdsburg’s Molti Amici during its first year, as the restaurant earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand. She has taught pasta classes around the Bay Area and, with her husband, founded a business staging specialty pasta pop-ups and custom-ordered tiramisu.
Reservations close April 23, 2026.
*We are not able to accommodate dietary requests for hands-on events. Please read the menu carefully and contact us with any questions at events@hbofm.org.
