About This Event

Prepare to enjoy one of the best parts of summer: the abundance of sweet, ripe berries! Wonderful when eaten fresh from the garden, berries truly elevate your summer meals when they star in exciting homemade desserts. This class will explore recipes quick enough for a weeknight treat yet also impressive for guests at your table. 

What You Make and Take Home: 

  • Make Roasted Strawberry Granita with Basil Syrup, Raspberry and Almond Dacquoise, Eton Mess and Blueberry Buttermilk Crumb Cake 
  • Take home your own crumb cake to share

About the instructor: Chef Dave worked as chef and pastry chef in several notable restaurants before starting his journey as an instructor in the Wine Country. He has taught and mentored rising chefs at The Culinary Institute of America, Copia, and the original Williams-Sonoma store. He now takes pride in overseeing our Community Teaching Kitchen.
