You'll learn to create a delicious Pumpkin Curry Soup, Creamy Pumpkin Hummus and just-in-time-for-the-holidays Pumpkin Tart with Sugared Sage.
Gain the techniques for trimming, roasting, puréeing, and safely chopping a variety of seasonal hard squash. Uncover the secret to turning any of several winter squashes into the star of your harvest table!
What You'll Make & Take Home:
- Take home recipes and a freshly made pint of Pumpkin Purée, ready to use in any recipe.
- Enjoy a hot cup of hearty soup with some of Chef Amy’s signature rustic bread from Marla Bakery.
- Taste a slice of Pumpkin Tart with Sugared Sage
About the instructor: Chef Amy Brown has created delicious breads, pastries and locavore menus for the last 25+ years in the Bay Area. She gained acclaim as brunch and pastry chef at Nopa in San Francisco, then opened her first restaurant with husband Joe Wolf. Now located in Santa Rosa, Marla focuses on bread with a menu that spans breakfast and lunch, plus a dinner series.
Reservations close Sept. 9, 2026.
