Course Objective: Community Resource Center Funder Connections are an opportunity for peer-learning and networking for those who work and volunteer in the nonprofit community.
Participants will gain insight and information on the following:
- History and priorities of Rose Community Foundation
- Funding Initiatives and opoportunities
- Funding application submission and review process
- Tips for success from the foundation officers
- Opportunity for open dialogue and questions with the various program officers at Rose Community Foundation
Rose Community Foundation mobilizes values-driven philanthropy to strengthen communities, expand opportunities, and address critical needs in Greater Denver and beyond.. To learn more about Rose, click here
NOTE: Rose Community Foundation accepts grant applications for programs that serve the seven-county Greater Denver community of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson Counties. Programs with a broader geographic focus may apply, however, the application must address the program’s relevance to and impact on people living within these seven counties.
Guests: Sarah Kurz (Chief Impact Officer), Maria Torres (Community Impact Director – Community Wellbeing), VJ Brown (Community Impact Director – Education and Economic Opportunity), and Ray Barrie-Kivel (Policy and Advocacy Director).
