About This Event
An intimate outdoor dinner in support of the Compassionate Connections Campaign — a capital campaign to build a stronger, more welcoming future for people impacted by HIV and other health conditions.
Join us at Margarita at Pine Creek, a hidden gem tucked along Pine Creek amid wildlife and classic Colorado scenery, as we bring together friends, supporters, and community leaders for an evening dedicated to compassionate care, connection, and the evolving needs of our community. (In case of inclement weather, the evening moves indoors to the restaurant's dining room.)
Your ticket includes a buffet-style dinner featuring seasonal appetizers, a selection of entrées, fresh-baked bread, dessert, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
Featured Speaker: Kristine Erlandson, MD
The program will feature a presentation on aging with HIV from Dr. Kristine Erlandson, Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Associate Division Head of Research. Dr. Erlandson's clinical care and research are focused on maximizing healthspan, the years of good health, among people with HIV, with work spanning mechanistic studies of aging, larger interventional trials, and models of care delivery.
Dr. Erlandson's contributions to the field have earned her national recognition, including the K24 National Institute of Aging Mid-Career Mentoring Award (2024), Tideswell's Emerging Leaders in Aging (2019), the University of Colorado's Outstanding Early Career Scholar award (2017), the AIDS Clinical Trials Group's John A. Carey Young Investigator Award (2016), and Gilead Sciences' Young Investigator Award in HIV Research (2015).
