Presented by Connecticut Alliance To End Sexual Violence

Disfluency Film Screening and Panel Discussion

About This Event

Join us this Sexual Assault Awareness Month for a screening of the film, Disfluency, and a panel discussion featuring team members from Central Connecticut State University Office of Victim Advocacy, YWCA New Britain Sexual Assault Crisis Services, and The Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence. Disfluency, directed by Anna Baumgarten, captures the nuanced, deeply personal experience of sexual assault, without sensationalizing details of the violence that Jane survives. The film follows Jane as she navigates internal conflict and self-doubt, processes her emotions, demonstrates resilience, seeks support, and begins healing.
