Join us for a day-long Artful Adventure designed for the whole family!

Yay! Play! • 10:30AM – 12:00PM

Drop by the CAC's Creativity Center for a giant play date your little ones are sure to love. This month's offering will focus on shape and color! Get creative and:

• Design an Eye Spy sensory bottle to take home, filled with colorful objects to search for.
• Take part in a collaborative building challenge with transparent cups and colorful tubes on the Creativity Center’s glowing light pads.
• Whip up some color mixing experiments at our rainbow water sensory stations.
• Try your hand at Gelli printing! Make a one-of-a-kind print to take home using repurposed materials of different shapes and textures.
• Create a shadow wand and experiment with shapes and light.

Drawing from Scratch with artist and educator Nytaya Babbit

Whether you're a beginner looking to explore your artistic side, or a seasoned artist wanting to level up your abilities, our group drawing class is the perfect place for creativity and connecting with fellow art enthusiasts.

Drive-In Movies with Cindependent Film Festival

Sit back and enjoy some family-friendly short film in the Reels on Wheels in the Creativity Center! Little film enthusiasts can take in the show from drive in box “cars”.

Create your own masterpiece with reused and repurposed materials

Artist in Residence: Karen Boyhen • 1-3PM

Join team Tiny Cincinnati! Together we'll build a small-scale version of our city from the ground up. Construction materials include paper mache, recycled materials, found objects and other mixed media. Imagination and creativity are valued, and you're encouraged to bring your ideas to this special session. Draw, paint, build, explore materials, and once the sculpture starts to take shape, utilize stop motion as well. Reimagine Cincinnati with us — no experience necessary!
