Widline Cadet: Seremoni Disparisyon (Ritual [Dis]Appearance) is the second presentation of artist Widline Cadet’s first solo museum exhibition in the United States. This exhibition explores Black diasporic life through Cadet's deeply personal examination of family, migration, memory, and belonging. Widline Cadet: Seremoni Disparisyon (Ritual [Dis]Appearance) was organized by the Milwaukee Art Museum.
In the Interest of Time presents work by seven artists with ties to Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, who investigate the relationship of their subject matter to time, moving beyond the conventional wisdom that a photograph captures a single moment of truth.
Widline Cadet: Seremoni Disparisyon (Ritual [Dis]Appearance) and In the Interest of Time are Featured Exhibitions in the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial: The Long View. Now in its eighth iteration, the Biennial activates over 70 exhibitions at museums, galleries, universities, and public spaces throughout Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Northern Kentucky in October 2026.
