CORA’s 12th Empty Bowls fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at Pittsboro United Methodist Church's Family Life Center. This year CORA will have two seatings, one at 5:00 pm and one at 6:30 pm. The concept is simple: guests enjoy delicious restaurant tastings and go home with a handmade bowl of their choice to serve as a reminder that someone's bowl is always empty. These empty bowls are why CORA needs to continue its efforts to end hunger in Chatham County. 100% of the proceeds go to helping neighbors in need and building a community without hunger!
Ticket Prices and Information:
$100: Premier: Supper (soup, sides, and dessert) and handmade premier pottery.
$65: General: Supper (soup, sides, and dessert) and handmade soup bowl
$25: Supper Only: Supper (soup, sides, and dessert)
$20: 50/50 Raffle (five tickets)
$5: 50/50 Raffle (one ticket)
This year’s event will feature the following:
Light appetizers
Delicious soups served by the chefs of local restaurants
Freshly baked breads
Homemade desserts
Selection of beverages
Live entertainment by the Popcorn Blue Band!
