The free public festival takes place October 16–17 in downtown Louisville alongside the Humana APP Louisville Open. Local artists Richard Sullivan and Ashley Cathey will create chalk artwork as part of LVA’s contribution to the festival.
Volunteer shift: Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12–2 a.m.
Please note: This shift begins at midnight Thursday night and ends early Friday morning.
Volunteers will help measure court boundaries and apply pickleball court tape. No artistic ability or pickleball experience is needed! Tasks involve bending, kneeling, and working close to the ground. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor work.
Volunteers will receive an art supply store gift card as a thank-you. Details will be confirmed before the event.
Sign up by October 9 or until all 10 spots are filled. Meeting location and arrival instructions will be emailed before the shift.
