About This Event
The final presentation will bring together students from the music and theater workshops, who will share with the audience what they have worked on during these past weeks.
On one hand, the participants from Creando Nuestra Música will perform songs that reflect their musical learning and their connection to Latin American culture. The theme of their presentation will be the sea and the beach, and images related to this setting will be projected during the songs. The children may wear traditional clothing from the countries featured in our songs (Peru, Mexico, and Colombia) or outfits that evoke a day at the beach.
On the other hand, the students in the theater workshop will present a stage performance of El renacuajo paseador, a work by the Colombian writer Rafael Pombo. For the performance, the children will wear costumes inspired by Colombia’s Pacific region, incorporating elements characteristic of that cultural tradition.

La presentación final reunirá a los estudiantes de los cursos de música y teatro, quienes compartirán con el público lo que han trabajado durante estas semanas.
Por un lado, los participantes de Creando Nuestra Música interpretarán canciones que reflejan su aprendizaje musical y su acercamiento a la cultura latinoamericana. La temática de su presentación será el mar y la playa, y durante las canciones se proyectarán imágenes relacionadas con este ambiente. Los niños podrán usar vestuarios típicos de los países de nuestras canciones (Perú, México y Colombia) o ropa que evoque un día en la playa.
Por otro lado, los estudiantes del taller de teatro presentarán la puesta en escena de El renacuajo paseador, obra del escritor colombiano Rafael Pombo.
