DESIGNxRI October Creative Conversations

About This Event

Designing the Spaces for Living

What role does interior design play in shaping the way we live, work, gather, and feel? This edition of Clambake: Creative Conversations explores how the environments that surround us can influence our experiences, emotions, and sense of connection.

French philosopher Gaston Bachelard wrote, “The house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace.” Building on this idea, the conversation will feature two interior designers whose work considers not only how spaces look, but how they make us feel and what they make possible.

Through their work, we’ll explore how interior design can create spaces for daydreaming, productivity, restoration, and community connection. From private homes to shared environments, the conversation will consider how designers respond to the needs, behaviors, and aspirations of the people who inhabit the spaces they create.

Join us for an evening of short talks and conversation as we explore how thoughtful interior design can shape everyday experiences and transform the spaces where we live.

Special thanks goes out to our event sponsors, Reflex Lighting and Best Tile for helping make this Clambake: Creative Conversation possible.

By signing up for this event, I authorize DESIGNxRI, or any entity authorized by DxRI, to use any of the images or video taken of me during this event. I agree that DxRI is not responsible for unauthorized use of images due to their accessibility online or in print.
