Summer Camp 2025

Are you crazy about animals? Do you love teaching them new tricks? Join us for HSHA 2025 Critter Camp!

Our summer camp is geared for children between the ages of 7-12 looking to give back to animals in need while learning to be the best furry companion they can be.

At camp, young animal lovers will:

• Learn special skills through our camp workshops (pet CPR, animal careers, behavioral training, etc.)
• Learn about animal care
• Hear from guest speakers in the animal world using video conferencing and in person workshops
• Meet many of HSHA's adoptable pets
• Engage in creative and educational activities
• Participate in team-building workshops
• Practice reading skills by reading to our companions

Each summer camp session runs from 9 am - 3 pm.

An after-care option is available as an add-on and is available as either a Single Day Pass or a Full Week Pass. 

Camp registration covers all activities, arts & crafts materials, a 2025 Critter Camp T-Shirt, and a non-refundable $25 registration fee.
