SLOW-PACED - Members-Only Bird Walk - Labor Day Morning

Monday, September 7th - Slow-birding for Migration

Join us for the height of fall migration for a slow-paced bird walk around the Minebank Run trail looking for migratory birds.

Meeting place: We’ll begin from the Sherwood side. Cromwell Valley Park has two entrances. Please use the first entrance off Cromwell Bridge Road (if coming from the Beltway) - 2002 Cromwell Bridge Road, Parkville, MD 21234.  Please park on the left just after driving through the white gates, and meet at the signage board. This will be closer to the Minebank Run for our walk.

What to bring: Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring water and your binoculars.

Cost: $5 per person, with all funds supporting Cromwell Valley Park Council, Inc.

General Conditions: 

• Registration for this event constitutes the acceptance of the WAIVER OF LIABILITY
• No birders under the age of 18 (so sorry!!!)
• No pets allowed.
• No alcohol, tobacco nor recreational drugs allowed.
• Be courteous and respectful of all birders.   We will walk at the pace of the slowest birder.
• If you pack it in, you pack it out.
