Connecting the World of Reed & Barton

About This Event

Introducing a brand-new resource from the Old Colony History Museum – the Reed & Barton Virtual Archive! Facilitated by design historian and former RISD professor Matthew Bird, this project is the OCHM’s vision to create a centralized virtual archive, linking existing information about the prominent silver manufacturer, making it known and available for research, education, and inspiration. Bird has spent the last two years developing this archive, which he will share an overview of in an illustrated presentation. This program is funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
