RSDSA’s Treating the Whole Person: Optimizing Wellness conference is back for CRPS Warriors, caregivers, and professionals that support CRPS Warriors!

We are looking forward to coming together at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel in Irving, Texas (Dallas) to discuss the latest updates on CRPS, hear from experts, and to network with others who truly understand from Friday, October 24th to Saturday, October 25th.

RSDSA is planning a meet and greet the evening of Friday, October 24th from 7:00 PM  - 8:30 PM. Our conference sessions will take place on Saturday, October 25th beginning at 9:30 AM and ending at 6:30 PM.

All of our speakers and sessions will focus on a number of CRPS topics including research, advocacy, mindset motivation, CRPS legal challenges, caregiving, and much more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’m interested in sponsoring the conference, becoming an exhibitor, and/or providing items for our swag bags. Where can I find additional information?

When is the registration deadline?

We do not have a conference registration deadline. However, the deadline to book your hotel room to receive the $154/night rate is Thursday, October 2nd.

If I register and can no longer attend, can I get refund?

Registration is non-refundable.

What does my registration fee cover?

Your registration fee covers attendance at the Friday evening meet and greet, Saturday conference sessions, and lunch on Saturday. We'll also have goodies and giveaways from RSDSA, local organizations, and our sponsors.

If you're staying at the Sheraton, you will also receive breakfast on Saturday (7AM-10AM) through the hotel.

I have specific dietary restrictions and accessibility needs. Who should I alert?

We ask for your dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, allergies, and if you are bringing a service animal when registering. We will let the Sheraton know this information as well. We will do our best to accommodate for meals, but you are free to bring your own meals if you have very specific dietary needs.

I’m traveling with a caregiver. Do they have to pay to attend the conference?

If your caregiver plans to attend the meet and greet on Friday and our sessions on Saturday, they must pay to attend.

Can I invite my physician to the conference? What about my attorney?

We encourage CRPS Warriors to invite their physicians to the conference so they can learn more about treating CRPS! Please help us spread the word to physicians in your area. We also encourage you to invite attorneys you work with so they can learn more about about defending CRPS patients.

Does the registration fee cover my room? Can RSDSA book my room for me?

The registration fee does not cover your hotel room. If you plan to stay at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel, you must book by clicking here or call 972-929-8400 Extension 3 and ask for Kokeeta Huff. Don't forget to identify yourself as part of the RSDSA group. The RSDSA team is unable to book rooms for attendees.

Do I have to stay at the Sheraton in order to attend the conference?

If you live in the DFW area, want to stay with family/friends, or you prefer to stay at a different hotel chain, you can do so and still attend the conference. However, if you do not stay at the Sheraton, you will not receive breakfast on Saturday morning.

I want to stay at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel but I may need to share a room with someone else attending. Can RSDSA assist?

What airport should I fly into?

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the closest airport to the hotel. The Sheraton provides a free shuttle to and from this airport. 

Dallas also has the Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), but the hotel shuttle does not run to and from that airport.

How will I get to and from the host hotel from DFW?
