About This Event

Join our Deaf docent, Angela Botz, for an immersive ASL tour of Like Water!

Presented entirely in American Sign Language, this tour explores Like Water, a powerful exhibition featuring artworks from an international, multigenerational group of artists. Through sculpture, video, ceramics, drawing, textiles, collages, and paintings, the exhibition examines water as both a physical force and an emotional landscape. Themes include the Mississippi River and its tributaries, inspiration and fluidity, climate change, and the Middle Passage—each artist offering a deeply personal perspective on water’s significance.
