About This Event
We’re excited to bring families together for a morning of connection, play, and conversation. This is a great opportunity to meet other families and community members, build new connections, and share experiences with others who understand the journey of raising a Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing child.
This gathering is also a little different from our typical Social Connections meetup—we want to hear directly from YOU about what your family needs and what you would like to see from DEAF, Inc. in the future.
☕ What to Expect
Date - September 26th 2026
Address - 25 E Frisco Ave, Webster Groves 63119, Annette Nitko Community Room (Lower Level)
Who? - Families with Deaf, HH, DB and CODA children and DHH community providers (Media for registration use tabs Parent, Child, Community Provider, Family Member, Educator)
Why? - To bring families together, share ideas, and help shape what’s next for our community—all while giving children a fun, safe space to play and connect.
10:00 AM — Doors Open
Come in, get settled, grab a coffee and a snack, and let the kids get comfortable in our play space.
10:30 AM — Family Conversation Begins
Our volunteers will lead fun games and activities for the children while parents gather for a guided group discussion.
We'll talk about the types of workshops, activities, resources, events and support you'd like to see from DEAF, Inc. We want this to be an open and welcoming conversation where families can share what's working, what they're looking for, and ideas for what we can build together.

“If DEAF, Inc. could create one thing that would make a difference for my family, what would it be?”
It could be a workshop, an event, a resource, an opportunity to meet other families—or something we haven't thought of yet!
No homework required! Just come ready to connect, share, and help us shape what's next.
As community advocates, we are here for you. We want to support the goals and needs of our community through meaningful programs and opportunities, while also being available for one-on-one support and advocacy for your family.
