About This Event

Brushstrokes of Light: An Introduction to Impressionism

Discover the beauty of color, light, and movement in our beginner-friendly Impressionism Painting Class, taught by a Deaf artist, Angela Botz. Inspired by iconic artists like Claude Monet, this class will guide you through the foundations of the Impressionist style—from capturing fleeting moments in nature to using loose, expressive brushstrokes.

With hands-on instruction, you’ll learn how to mix vibrant colors, create depth with light and shadow, and paint your own Impressionist-style landscape or still life. No prior painting experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

All materials are provided, and this class is perfect for adults and teens ages 15 and up.
