ASL Storytelling Workshop

About This Event

About Workshop ASL storytelling is a cultural treasure in the Deaf and hard of hearing community. In this engaging workshop, Crom Saunders explores the history, evolution, and diverse genres of ASL storytelling while encouraging participants to create original works that keep our culture thriving. While strong ASL translations are valuable, original storytelling is the heartbeat of our community. Taught with respect, warmth, and joy, this workshop creates a supportive space where creativity is fun—not intimidating or competitive. Workshop is designed for the Deaf and hard of hearing, but everyone is welcome.
