DEEPLY ROOTED: Healing Grows from the Roots Up
You're invited to Mending the Soul's Benefit Dinner—an evening of powerful stories of transformation that reflect the work God is doing domestically and around the world.
You'll hear from a remarkable young woman Celestia first met while serving on the streets of Phoenix—once homeless and trafficked, now a licensed social worker and published author. You’ll also bear witness to the sheltering forests growing from one tiny seed, planted and faithfully watered in the red soil of Africa.
Deeply Rooted speaks to the heart of Mending the Soul's mission because true healing begins in the invisible spaces that are below the surface. It happens at the root.
The gospel itself tells this story. Jesus is our suffering Savior, who entered pain and death so that new life could come. "Unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit" John 12:24. Mending the Soul brings that seed, planted in the hard soil of trauma and brokenness, trusting God to generate growth where healing was previously impossible.
As you witness first hand what God is growing, we’ll invite you to join the story so that many more lives can bear fruit. This work takes all of us!
