About This Event
Our goal for Denim & Pearls is to fully fund our AMEN House Backpack Weekend Meals Program for the 2024-25 school year.
During the 2023-24 school year the AMEN House Backpack Weekend Meals Program, in cooperation with 8 Scott County Schools, put over 60,000 meals into backpacks on Fridays to make sure kids had the food they needed on the weekend. We are anticipating 350 kids will need our program the 2024-25 school year.
350 kids x 40 weekends x $5 invested to cover 6 meals every weekend = $70,000
Join us for a beautiful evening with great food by DaRae & Freinds, fun music by The Mingled Oaks with the beautiful backdrop of Queenslake all to END child hunger in Scott County. It will be held at the beautiful Queenslake on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
