Dennis James Family Night

Join us for an evening of History and Mystery as we welcome the inimitable Dennis James back to the History Center! This year, we are honoring the work of Edgar Allen Poe with two interpretations of one of his most famous short stories, The Tell-Tale Heart. The first portion of our program will be a live performance of the 1941 Inner Sanctum Mysteries broadcast of The Tell-Tale Heart, performed by the Actors' Moveable Theater and Dennis James. Following a brief intermission, Dennis will accompany the 1914 silent film, The Avenging Conscience, starring Henry B. Walthall and Blanche Sweet, and directed by D.W. Griffith.

Doors will open at 5:45, and the performance will begin at 6:30. Popcorn, movie snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

We are looking forward to welcoming Dennis and the performers from Actors' Moveable Theater back for this event!
