The Desert Community Animal Center is a low-cost veterinary clinic in Desert Hot Springs, providing a full range of services to pet owners. You can donate to our S.A.V.E. Fund (Saving Animals with Veterinary Emergencies). These funds will be used to support low-income and unhoused individuals who need help taking care of their pets, both at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and the Desert Community Animal Center. This will allow the pet and pet owner to stay together, providing needed medical treatments to the pet and thus eliminating a pet surrender. Rather than donating cash, many of our donors are opting for non-cash options that not only support our animals but may also offer a variety of tax benefits.
