Sustainable Crafts: Visible Mending

Did you know that 92 million tons of textile waste is produced every year? Keep your clothing out of the landfill by learning to visibly mend your garments and fabrics with us!

Join us for a fun evening of sustainable crafting at Cedar Run! Learn how to visibly mend your clothing and fabrics with colorful thread and fun, eye-catching designs. We'll supply all of the materials you'll need and walk you through the steps of mending your own clothing so you can continue to wear it for years to come!

Bring your own snacks and drinks, and clothing.

This event is for ages 16+. $15/person. Members save 10%! Advanced registration is required. 20 participants maximum.

All proceeds from this event go directly towards supporting Cedar Run’s mission of the preservation and protection of New Jersey’s wildlife and habitats through education, conservation, and rehabilitation. When you attend a Cedar Run event, you make a direct impact in our community!
