Restore and Rebuild: Supporting Our Families' Return to a Normal Life

This fund will help Club members, staff, and their families recover from a catastrophic event that may displace them now and in the future.

We're Stronger Together!

For decades, the Fazio Family Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County has been dedicated to advancing equitable family services in our community. We’ve shared joy, supported school success, and mentored future leaders. Now, in the wake of Hurricane Helene's devastation, we’re called to do even more for those who need us most.

Recovery will be a long journey—from restoring power and rebuilding businesses to reimagining bright futures. But we refuse to let families walk that road alone. That's why we're launching the "Restore and Rebuild: Supporting Our Families' Return to Normal Fund." These funds will help families with urgent needs, from replacing vehicles to providing clothes or contributing to rent.

We invite you to join us in this mission. If you have the means, please consider contributing to the Restore and Rebuild Fund. Every bit of support can make a difference. Together, we can help our community rebuild and thrive.

The "Restore and Rebuild: Supporting Our Families' Return to Normal Fund" will provide financial assistance to support families in several key areas impacted by Hurricane Helene. Possible services this fund could support:

  1. Vehicle Replacement or Repair: Assisting families who have lost or damaged vehicles, which are essential for commuting to work or school.

  2. Clothing Replacement: Providing funds to replace clothes and personal items that were lost or destroyed during floods or storm damage.

  3. Rent and Housing Assistance: Contributing towards rent payments to prevent eviction for families who have lost income due to the storm.

  4. Emergency Childcare Services: Offering essential childcare for families while they work to rebuild their lives.

  5. Food and Basic Necessities: Ensuring families have access to meals and basic hygiene supplies during this challenging time.

These funds aim to alleviate the unexpected financial burdens families face after the disaster and help them return to a sense of normalcy.
