We are thrilled to announce the upcoming relaunch of our IEP Kits for the 2026 – 2027 school year! These kits are meticulously designed to empower families with the tools and resources necessary to navigate the IEP process effectively. Updated annually, our IEP Kits provide innovative strategies to help you advocate for your student, ensuring they receive the support and services they need to thrive.
IEP Kits are for families within the 25 counties DSACO serves. Each family is eligible to receive one kit per year, intended for the child with Down syndrome, but the tools received in the kit are applicable to all IEP meetings!
Please note: For 2026, IEP Kits will not be mailed. Families are able to select their preferred pickup date and location on the registration form. If the selected pickup location is the Summer Social or School Age Group meeting, registration for those events is required separately. If unable to pickup an IEP Kit in person, there is also an option for digital delivery where the IEP Kit materials will be emailed in a PDF format. Physical kits will not be held after the final pickup date, unless prior arrangements have been made.
