Youth-Adult: DSAmd Improv- Howard Co. 1st Saturdays 2026

About This Event

Join us every 1st Saturday of the month in Howard County for an engaging improv workshop led by Director Diamond. Perfect for creativity, connection, and fun!

DSAmd Improv emphasizes inclusivity and often tailors its techniques to suit individuals with different needs, such as those with developmental disabilities. Participants engage in interactive experiences that strengthen quick thinking, self-expression, and teamwork. These skills extend well beyond the stage, supporting personal development and confidence in everyday life.

Family Yoga Share quality time with your loved ones in this beginner-friendly yoga class. Yvonne will lead you through breathwork and yoga poses to promote strength, flexibility, and coordination. Yoga led by Yvonne! Yvonne has been practicing yoga most of her adult life and started meditating in 2017. What began as a personal journey for stress management evolved into something more: a mission for community, kindness, and compassion. Yvonne completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training from the Yoga Center of Columbia and is currently undergoing training for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training at Brown University. Outside the studio, Yvonne’s professional life includes teaching and advising college students. She has served on the board of the Down Syndrome Association of Maryland and is a mom to Luis, who happens to have Down syndrome.
