SpecialCents Money Skills Course

About This Event

SpecialCents Money Skills Course

Presented by Abhi, a proud member of the DSAmd family, who created SpecialCents inspired by his younger brother, Adi. After seeing the need for practical, accessible financial education for students with intellectual disabilities, Abhi created SpecialCents to make money skills easier to understand, practice, and apply to everyday life.

Through clear explanations, hands-on activities, and supportive learning, SpecialCents helps students build confidence, develop practical financial skills, and take steps toward greater financial independence.

Join us for the SpecialCents Money Skills Course, a four-session self-paced online course supported by five live Zoom meetings where participants will have opportunities to interact, learn, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

  • Participants will complete the four course sessions primarily through self-paced learning during the two weeks between each meeting. Zoom meetings will focus on reviewing completed sessions, introducing upcoming sessions, answering questions, and providing support.
  • If participants or families have questions while working through the course, they can easily contact Abhi through the SpecialCents website (specialcents.com) for additional help or clarification.

Participants will use Google Classroom to access course materials and activities. If you have a Gmail account, please use that email address to register.

Registration Commitment:
By registering, participants are committing to attend all five Zoom meetings and complete each self-paced course session during the approximately two weeks between meetings. Please register only if you are able to participate in the full series.
