About This Event
Parents often have questions about how transitioning youth take the next steps toward a full life post-high school. Should they continue onto a post-secondary program? Can they get a job? Who helps? How does it work? What do employers think? Is a college program realistic?
Join us for a lively discussion of your questions and concerns. We'll begin with a short presentation by Nancy and Jen to frame our discussion. We will then move to an open forum where you can speak and share, listen and learn.
During this event, we will be listening for what our community wants to see in our transitioning youth parent/caregiver series coming this spring/summer.
Speakers:
Nancy Forsythe, DSNMC Board President
Jen Emmel, DSNMC Transitioning Youth & Adult Manager
Tuesday, April 14, 2026
7:30 to 9:00 PM
via Zoom (shared upon registration)
