DSNMC 16+ Pool Party with SwimLabs

Join the Transitioning Youth and Adult team at DSNMC on Sunday, February 1st from 3-6pm for swimming and dinner at SwimLabs Montgomery County.  This is a new event for DSNMC and we want you to join in the fun!

DSNMC is proud to offer scholarships for those needing assistance with our programming fees. To make a request for assistance, please complete this brief and confidential form to request a scholarship.

This event has a maximum capacity of 10 swimmers and pre-registration is required. Participants will be required to fill out a waiver upon arrival at SwimLabs. 

This event is for older teens and adults with Down syndrome (ages 16+) and their non-DSNMC friends.  For this event, DSNMC members are welcome to invite peers to swim with us!  Individuals ages 16+ with and without disabilities are welcome.  Support and supervision will be provided by DSNMC staff and peer mentors and SwimLabs will provide lifeguards. 

All participants need to be water safe and comfortable being in the water.  The swim tanks have a depth of 51 inches, so no diving or jumping is permitted. 

Dinner is included in the ticket price and will be served after swimming has concluded.. 

What to Bring:

• Swimsuit

• Towel

• Goggles (if needed)

• Change of clothes

• Shampoo and soap if you plan to shower after swimming
