About This Event
Access one-on-one academic support during the summer in DSC’s Learning Academy summer service. DSC’s tutoring sessions provide direct academic intervention to students with Down syndrome. Tutoring sessions vary based on student strengths and needs while applying specific strategies, resources, and activities. Tutoring sessions include personalized learning materials to support participants during academics focused on Individualized Education Plan related goals, homework, and/or focused academic skills.
Program Highlights:
Time frame: Weeks of July 28th, August 4th, August 11th
3 weeks, 3 days per week for a total of 9 sessions.
Session length: 45 minutes per session
Age range: 5-18 years
The cost for this program is $270 for 9 sessions.
Registration: Please contact Leia Steffas at leia@dscpugetsound.org to register for Fall tutoring. Tutoring is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registered, families will complete an intake meeting, and participants will have an in-person assessment to determine the goals for the session.
