Join us for Children’s Grief & Our Role: A Professional Development Day devoted to deepening our understanding of how grief impacts the lives of children, families, and the professionals who care for them. Throughout the day, participants will explore what it means to be grief-informed—examining the developmental, emotional, and neurobiological aspects of grief and trauma, and learning practical tools to foster healing and resilience. Featuring keynote speaker Viki Brown, M.T., CGC, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Dustin’s Place, along with expert presenters in the fields of social work, counseling, and thanatology, the day will include both clinical insight and hands-on application. From understanding children’s unique grief responses and classroom strategies to exploring anticipatory and traumatic loss, attendees will gain evidence-based knowledge and compassionate approaches to better support grieving individuals in every setting.
