Resilience, Past and Future

Join us for a day of words, song, dance, and other exclusive performances from Duwamish Tribal members and allies.  We want to celebrate our RESILIENCE during this difficult time and we are looking forward to sharing this experience with you all during this online fundraiser.

We will share information on how to bid on our collection of works by Indigenous artists through our online platform in the coming weeks.  Register to join the virtual event and stay tuned!

Rename T-107 Park to Honor the Duwamish

The Port of Seattle is seeking local resident feedback on renaming a number of public parks along the Duwamish River, which are under their oversight. One of the parks to be renamed, “Terminal 107 Park,” is located across the street from the Duwamish Longhouse & Cultural Center, the historical site of Duwamish traditional riverside longhouses.

To acknowledge and honor the Duwamish Tribe, the Duwamish are requesting the park be named Ha Ah Poos Duwamish Village Park.
