About This Event

Join this Ranger led exploration of the flora and fauna of the Estero Americano Coast Preserve

This will be a fun and informative hike across the Preserve. We'll discover the incredible biodoversity of life at the Estero Americano Coast Preserve from wildflowers to shorebirds and everything in between.

This moderatly challenging hike will take us about 4 miles and 400 feet of elevation gain across varied terrain with sweeping vistas up on the Ridge Trail down to the stunning and remote Estero beach. Bring layers, water and a lunch. Weather can be sunny and warm or foggy, windy and cold.

What to Bring:

  • Water
  • Closed toed hiking shoes
  • Hat for sun
  • Hiking poles
  • Layers for variable weather (sun/fog/wind)
