About This Event
The program will be held at our FarmPark each Wednesday after school until 5pm,
begins September and runs through April.
Our Earth Scouts will have the opportunity to explore the magic of the natural world around them, from farmyard experiences to fun nature connection games, learning compassion while interacting with living plants and animals throughout the vast environment all around us.
Our participants, K-8th grades, will engage in mindfulness practices, experience nature connection through present observation and be mentored to love our precious Earth. Children will have the opportunity to interact with our animals and help with their care. In the fall we will help our farmers with harvesting and cleaning vegetables grown on the farm and in the winter the children will learn to cook and preserve food. When spring comes we will work on prepping garden beds and will start seedlings in our greenhouse that will be planted in the warmer months. Through the seasons there will be fun art projects and outdoor play in our amazing FarmPark spaces.
Our after-school program will be held on Wednesdays in an effort to help families on early-release days. The program will be every Wednesday. During the colder months we will be able to use our brand new building for a warm space to play, do art, and cook.
We welcome all students from all the area schools- regardless of when their day ends.
*We can greet Aspen Public School students at the Koala bus stop at Cozy Point.
**Wednesdays during fall, winter, and spring breaks will not have any programming.
