Voices of Hope Luncheon

Every day, women and children in our community take brave steps away from abuse and toward healing. The East Texas Crisis Center (ETCC) stands beside them, offering a path to a new life.

Did you notice the dandelions? When their seeds lift on the wind, they travel and grow strong in new places. In the same way, your sponsorship can carry hope to survivors. Hope that heals. Hope that transforms. Hope that cuts through fear. Hope that empowers someone to make that first, life-saving call for help.

This year we welcome Nichole and Jim Schmidt, mother and step-father of Gabby Petito. Gabby’s story shook the nation, reminding us that relationship violence can touch any family. 

Nichole and Jim now use their voices to protect others, and they will share how community support can prevent future tragedies.
